What Is Clan Capital?
Clan Capital is a shared clan progression system where all members contribute resources to build and upgrade a shared “Capital” village. Unlike the main village, which is individual, Clan Capital is a cooperative effort — your whole clan attacks together during Raid Weekends to earn Capital Gold.
Capital Gold is the exclusive currency for Clan Capital upgrades and can also be spent in the Capital Shop for magic items.
How Raid Weekend Works
Timing: Raid Weekend runs every Friday–Sunday (UTC). Your clan gets a fixed number of attacks to raid other clans’ Capital districts.
Structure:
- Each Clan Capital has a main Capital Peak plus up to 5 districts (Barbarian Camp, Wizard Valley, Dragon Cliffs, etc.)
- You must fully destroy a district (3-star it) before attacking the next one
- Each player gets 5 attacks per Raid Weekend, but can earn 1 bonus attack per enemy district fully destroyed
Capital Gold earned: Every troop deployed and every building destroyed earns Capital Gold. A full 5-attack Raid Weekend with good 3-star attacks earns 3,000-5,000+ Capital Gold per player.
District Upgrade Priority
Your clan’s Capital is upgraded by spending Capital Gold on buildings and districts. Upgrade priority:
1. Capital Peak (always first)
Upgrading the Capital Peak unlocks new districts and upgrades. Every time it reaches a new level threshold, new content unlocks. Always prioritize Capital Peak over district upgrades.
2. Highest-Traffic Districts
Districts you attack most during Raid Weekends benefit most from upgrades — stronger defenses mean enemies earn less Capital Gold raiding you, and more attack resources to raid others.
Recommended upgrade order after Capital Peak:
- Barbarian Camp (easiest to defend and attack)
- Wizard Valley
- Builder’s Workshop
- Dragon Cliffs
- Golem Quarry
3. Don’t Spread Upgrades Too Thin
Fully upgrade one district before spreading resources to the next. A fully maxed district is significantly harder to 3-star than 5 half-upgraded districts.
Best Raid Weekend Attack Strategies
Each district has its own troop pool — you can only use specific troops per district. Adapt your strategy to the available options.
Barbarian Camp (Barbarians, Giants, Wall Breakers, Healers)
Strategy: Giants + Healer + Barbarians
Deploy Giants first to tank, drop Healers behind them, flood Barbarians behind the Healer shield. This combination clears most Barbarian Camp districts reliably.
Wizard Valley (Wizards, Minions, Dragons, Archers)
Strategy: Dragon + Wizard flood
Dragons in front tank Air Defenses while Wizards behind deal high AoE ground damage. Scale with available troop levels.
Builder’s Workshop (Cannon Carts, Giants, Bombers, Super P.E.K.K.A)
Strategy: Cannon Cart + Super P.E.K.K.A
Cannon Carts target defenses; Super P.E.K.K.A pushes through. Highest-DPS combination available in this district.
Dragon Cliffs (Dragons, Balloons, Electro Dragon, Minions)
Strategy: Electro Dragon + Balloon
Similar to main village Hydra — Electro Dragons chain-lightning multiple defenses while Balloons clean up. Fan EDrags wide for maximum chain coverage.
Golem Quarry (Golems, Witches, Bowlers, Super Barbarians)
Strategy: Golem tank + Witch skeleton flood
Drop Golems across the front, Witches behind. Skeleton flood provides enormous total DPS while Golems absorb all incoming fire.
Maximizing Capital Gold Per Weekend
Use all 5 attacks. Every unused attack is Capital Gold left on the table. Set a reminder — Raid Weekend ends Sunday.
Focus on 3-starring districts, not just damaging them. You only unlock the next district when the current one is fully destroyed. A 2-star and a wasted attack costs your clan a full district clear.
Coordinate with your clan. Don’t start a district you can’t finish. Check how many attacks are left on a district before committing your last attack — if it’s at 40% HP and you only have 1 attack left, leave it for a clanmate.
Donate Capital Gold consistently. Small donations throughout the week add up. 200-300 Capital Gold donated per week from each member compounds into significant district upgrades over a season.
Capital Shop — What to Buy
Capital Gold can be spent in the Capital Shop (in the Clan section). Priority purchases:
Book of Heroes — The best value in the Capital Shop. Capital Gold is the most accessible source of Books of Heroes for active players.
Builder Potion — Strong value for active builders.
Research Potion — If you have a long troop upgrade running.
Resource packs — Low priority compared to time-saving items.
Common Clan Capital Mistakes
Not attacking during Raid Weekend. Each player who doesn’t attack costs the clan potential Capital Gold. Clan leaders should send reminders — 5 attacks takes under 15 minutes.
Donating Capital Gold to the wrong district. Always check with clan leadership before donating to ensure you’re contributing to the agreed upgrade priority. Uncoordinated donations delay the most impactful upgrades.
Attacking a district you can’t finish. Leaving a district at 80% HP with no attacks remaining blocks your clan from claiming that district’s rewards. Either fully 3-star it or leave enough HP that a weaker attack can finish it.
Upgrading all districts equally. Half-upgraded everything is weaker than one maxed district plus undeveloped others. Focus the clan’s Capital Gold until one district is fully maxed before spreading upgrades.
