Clan Games Guide 2026: How to Maximize Rewards Every Month

Complete Clan Games guide for 2026. Learn how Clan Games works, which challenges give the most points, how to reach Tier 6 rewards, and what to spend your tokens on.

What Is Clan Games?

Clan Games is a monthly event that runs for 6 days, where all clan members complete in-game challenges to earn points for both the clan and themselves. As point thresholds are crossed, reward tiers unlock — and the top tiers contain some of the most valuable items in the game.

The key mechanic: Clan Games is both a clan effort and an individual effort. The clan unlocks tiers together; individual players choose which rewards from each unlocked tier to claim.

How Clan Games Works

Timeline

Clan Games runs for 6 days, typically starting mid-month (exact dates announced in-game). You’ll see a notification when they begin.

Challenges

Each player sees a list of 6 challenges at a time. Completing a challenge earns points toward the tier total. Once you complete a challenge, it disappears and a new one takes its place.

Challenge types:

  • Win multiplayer battles
  • Win Clan War attacks
  • Donate troops
  • Destroy X buildings in attacks
  • Use specific spells/troops in battles
  • Collect resources
  • Complete Builder Base battles

Each challenge has a point value. Harder challenges = more points.

Clan Tier Thresholds

The clan needs a combined total of points to unlock each tier. At Tier 6 (max), everyone in the clan can claim max rewards. A 50-person clan with most members contributing hits Tier 6 easily in 6 days.

Reward Tiers: What You Get

Tiers 1–5 give progressively better rewards. Tier 6 is the target — it contains:

  • Book of Heroes (the most valuable magic item in the game)
  • Builder Potions
  • Research Potions
  • Resource packs
  • Wall Rings

Each tier allows you to pick one reward from that tier. This means:

  • If you want the Book of Heroes (Tier 6), you need to claim it specifically
  • You also get to pick one reward from each previous tier (1–5)
  • A player who hits personal max AND the clan reaches Tier 6 claims 6 rewards total

Individual Points Required

To unlock all 6 personal tiers, you need 4,000 personal points. This takes roughly 30–50 challenge completions depending on point values.

Is 4,000 points realistic? Yes, for any active player. 6 days × 15–20 minutes of challenge attempts per day easily reaches 4,000 points.

What if I can’t play much? Even 1,000–2,000 personal points unlocks Tier 3–4 rewards. Partial participation is still valuable — skip the hardest challenges and focus on fast ones.

Fastest Challenges to Complete

Not all challenges are created equal. Some give many points for little effort:

Easy/fast (pick these first):

  • “Win X multiplayer battles” — do this while farming normally
  • “Donate X troops” — if your clan is active, this fills quickly
  • “Destroy X resource buildings” — happens naturally during raids
  • “Collect X resources from collectors” — free from passive collection

Medium difficulty:

  • “Use X of [specific troop] in battles” — bring that troop in 3–5 raids
  • “Win Builder Base battles” — 3–4 BH attacks per session

Skip or do last:

  • “3-star X bases” — requires full 3-star attacks, which takes effort
  • “Win X Clan War attacks” — depends on war schedule
  • Challenges requiring specific equipment or heroes you haven’t upgraded

Strategy: Complete the 3 easiest challenges, let new ones refresh, repeat. This is more efficient than forcing through a hard challenge when 3 easy ones could appear next.

What to Pick at Each Tier

If you reach all 6 tiers:

TierBest Pick
Tier 6Book of Heroes — always
Tier 5Builder Potion (if all builders active) or Research Potion
Tier 4Builder Potion or Book of Building
Tier 3Builder Potion or Resource Pack
Tier 2Wall Rings or Resource Pack
Tier 1Whatever’s available

If the clan only reaches Tier 4–5: Pick Book of Fighting (troop upgrades) or Builder Potions over resource packs. Time-saving items are always worth more than raw resources.

Book of Heroes: The Most Important Reward

The Book of Heroes from Clan Games Tier 6 instantly completes any hero upgrade. At high TH levels, hero upgrades cost 7–14 days per level. A Book of Heroes from Clan Games is worth 2 weeks of passive hero upgrading — every month.

Over 6 months: 6 Book of Heroes = 12 weeks of hero upgrades saved. This is the compounding reason to never miss Clan Games.

Always save the Book of Heroes for your highest-priority hero. That’s almost always the Archer Queen at TH9–13, or the Legendary equipment upgrade at TH14+.

Clan Games Etiquette

In active clans:

  • Complete your points within the first 3–4 days so the clan reaches Tier 6 before the event ends
  • Don’t complete a challenge and immediately leave it — this resets others’ progress on shared challenges
  • Communicate if you’ll be unable to participate — leaders need to know if they should recruit temporary members for the event

For clan leaders:

  • Set a minimum personal point requirement (1,000–2,000 is reasonable) for members to qualify for Tier 6 rewards
  • Kick inactive members the week before Clan Games if they haven’t participated recently

Common Clan Games Mistakes

Waiting until the last day. Clan Games run for 6 days. Starting on day 5 means fewer challenges completed, fewer points, and potential for the clan to miss Tier 6. Start day one.

Picking resource packs at Tier 6. A Gold or Elixir pack from Tier 6 is worth far less than a Book of Heroes. Always take the Book unless your heroes are all maxed.

Skipping months because “you don’t have time.” Even 30 minutes of challenge attempts across 2 sessions gets most players to Tier 4 rewards. The Book of Heroes is too valuable to skip entirely.

Not upgrading the hero immediately after getting the Book. If your heroes are all mid-upgrade when Clan Games end, the Book sits unused. Plan your hero upgrades around the Clan Games calendar — finish one level just before Clan Games starts so the Book can be used immediately.
