TH10 Attack Guide 2026: Best Strategies to 3-Star Any Base

← All Guides

Master TH10 attacks in 2026. Covers Queen Walk LaLoon, Yeti Smash, and Mass Hog strategies with troop compositions, spell loadouts, and how to handle the Eagle Artillery.

TH10 Attack Overview

TH10 introduces the Eagle Artillery — one of the most dangerous defenses in the game at this level. It activates after 100 housing space worth of troops are deployed, then fires continuously, targeting your highest-HP units across the entire base. Every competitive TH10 strategy is built around one question: how do I deal with the Eagle Artillery?

The Inferno Towers are the second challenge. TH10 has two Infernos, and a single-target Inferno burning your Queen or a hero mid-attack is one of the most common attack failures at this level.

Get these two defenses right and TH10 3-stars become routine.

Understanding the Eagle Artillery

The Eagle Artillery doesn’t activate immediately. It waits until 100 housing space of troops have been deployed. Once active, it targets the highest-HP unit on the map and fires a multi-burst salvo.

What this means for attacking:

  • You can delay the Eagle’s activation by deploying fewer troops initially (Queen + Healers only = 5 housing space, no Eagle)
  • Once the Eagle activates, the most important thing is protecting your core push when it fires
  • The Warden’s Eternal Tome is the #1 counter — time it to the Eagle’s first salvo

Strategy 1: Queen Walk + LaLoon

The best TH10 strategy for experienced attackers. Reliable 3-star rate against well-designed bases.

Why it works: The Queen Walk with Healers clears the Inferno Tower side of the base before the main army deploys. LaLoon (Lava Hound + Balloon) then pushes from the opposite side. The Eagle Artillery activates when LaLoon deploys — but by then, the Infernos are already gone and the Warden covers the Balloon cluster.

Troop Composition

TroopCount
Archer Queen + Healers × 4Queen Walk
Lava Hound3
Balloon12–14
Minion8

Spells: Rage × 2, Haste × 2, Freeze × 1, Poison × 1
Clan Castle: Electro Dragon or high-level Dragon

Execution

  1. Lure and kill CC. Kite CC troops to a corner. Kill with CC troops + Poison Spell.
  2. Funnel corners. Drop 2–3 Giants or Super Barbarians at each corner of the Queen Walk entry to create an inward path.
  3. Queen Walk. Deploy Queen + 4 Healers on the side with the Inferno Towers. Let her clear the Infernos and any Scattershot coverage on that side.
  4. Activate Queen ability when she hits the Inferno killzone or when HP drops below 40%.
  5. Deploy Lava Hounds on the opposite side — one Hound per Air Defense corner.
  6. Balloons behind Hounds — once Hounds have Air Defense aggro, fan Balloons behind them.
  7. Warden walk — the Warden follows the Balloon push. Position him slightly behind the Balloon cluster.
  8. Warden Eternal Tome — activate when the Eagle Artillery fires its first burst. This is the single most important timing decision in the attack.
  9. Rage on Balloon core push. Drop Rage when Balloons converge on the Eagle Artillery.
  10. Haste on rear Balloons. Drop Haste on any Balloons stalling behind defenses.
  11. Minion cleanup. Deploy after Air Defenses are down to clean outer ring.

Strategy 2: Yeti Smash

Simpler than Queen Walk LaLoon and highly consistent. Strong choice when heroes are lower level or Queen Walk isn’t mastered yet.

Troop Composition

TroopCount
Yeti8–10
Witch3
Super Barbarian4 (funnel)
Healer × 3 (optional Queen Walk)Support

Spells: Rage × 2, Heal × 1, Freeze × 2, Earthquake × 1
Siege: Wall Wrecker or Log Launcher

Execution

  1. Lure CC first. Same as all strategies — never skip this.
  2. Super Barbarian funnel. Drop 2 Super Barbarians at each corner of the entry point to destroy outer buildings and channel the push inward.
  3. Log Launcher down the primary lane. Sends it toward the Eagle Artillery — it tanks Inferno fire off your Yetis.
  4. Yetis + Witches behind the Launcher. Deploy in a wide line, not a column.
  5. Warden walks with the push. Position slightly behind the Yeti line.
  6. Earthquake on walls if there’s a sealed compartment the Launcher doesn’t hit.
  7. Warden Eternal Tome when Eagle Artillery activates (at 100 housing space).
  8. Rage + Freeze — Rage at the core cluster, Freeze any Inferno burning through your Yetis.
  9. Royal Champion (if available) on the opposite side to clean defenses the Yeti push bypassed.

Strategy 3: Mass Hogs

A classic TH10 strategy that’s less technical than Queen Walk LaLoon. Lower ceiling but easier to execute consistently.

Troop Composition

TroopCount
Hog Rider32–36
Witch2–3
Archer6–8 (cleanup)

Spells: Heal × 3, Poison × 1, Rage × 1

Key TH10 Hog Adjustments

TH10 has two single-target Infernos that burn through Hog clusters fast. The priority is clearing the Infernos with the Queen before the Hog push hits them — or Freezing them when they lock on.

If running pure Hogs without a Queen Walk opener:

  • Bring a Freeze Spell specifically for each Inferno Tower
  • Deploy Hogs in two groups (60/40 split) to reduce single Giant Bomb risk
  • Time Heal Spells when the Hog cluster approaches the Inferno fire line

Handling the Eagle Artillery

Every TH10 attacker needs an Eagle Artillery response. The options:

Option A: Warden Eternal Tome Time the Warden ability for the first Eagle salvo. The entire push becomes invincible for 5 seconds while the Eagle fires. This is the most reliable option for Yeti Smash and LaLoon.

Option B: Queen destroys it first A well-executed Queen Walk that reaches the Eagle Artillery removes the problem entirely. Against LaLoon, if the Queen takes out the Eagle during her walk, the LaLoon push doesn’t face it at all.

Option C: Deploy slowly to delay activation Start with only the Queen + Healers. The Eagle needs 100 housing space to activate — if only 5 housing space is deployed, it stays quiet while the Queen clears threats. Deploy the main army only after the Queen is deep inside the base.

TH10 Common Mistakes

Not luring the CC. A TH10 CC with an Electro Dragon will chain-lightning and kill your entire Balloon cluster or destroy Healers instantly. Always lure first.

Deploying the main army before the Queen Walk is finished. Sending Yetis or Lava Hounds while the Queen is still on the outer ring activates the Eagle Artillery early. The Eagle fires into your main army before the Queen has cleared the Infernos.

Wrong Warden ability timing. Pressing Eternal Tome when nothing dangerous is actively firing wastes the 5-second invincibility window. Count the housing space deployed — at 90+, prepare to hit the ability the moment the Eagle fires.

Stacking Balloons in one column. LaLoon Balloons deployed in a column follow each other and die to the same Air Defense. Fan them out — one behind each Lava Hound, across a wide front.
